Tipperary Co-Op stock a full range of fertilisers to cater for our customers individual needs to help maximise yields and improve profitability. We provide a full GPS soil sampling service to ensure an accurate soil fertility profile. From these results a plan can be developed to help ensure that all nutrients are catered for to optimise soil fertility.

Reseeding

To help farmers choose the best grass seed mixture, Tipperary Cooperative promotes our CO-OP SOURCE Premium Gold grass seed. This premium mix includes high-yielding and highly digestible grasses and include added Clover, boosting early spring and autumn growth. Formulated with conjunction with Teagasc expertise and based on proven varieties from recommended lists, these are ideal for grazing or one-cut silage. Tipperary Co-op offers a wide range of agrochemical products for all your weed and disease control needs. Our trained staff provide expert advice on the use and application of these chemicals.

To maintain weed-free grassland, implement management practices such as drainage, fertility, grazing, topping, and occasional mowing. When weeds establish, use the appropriate chemicals to target specific weeds like thistles, nettles, rushes, and dandelions, which can affect the nutritional value of grass and restrict grazing. Nettles and thistles also make hay and silage unpalatable.

For fertilisers, we stock many combinations of the three major nutrients – Nitrogen (N), Phosphate (P) and Potassium (K). A comprehensive range of N, P, K, S and minor elemental fertilizers are available in 50kg, 375kg and 500kg bags.

All of our Crop Packaging product prices include the Irish Farm Film Producers Group (IFFPG) environmental levy where relevant.
