About Us

Tipperary Cooperative was established in 1908 in Tipperary town. Situated in the heart of the Golden Vale, we’re located in one of Europe’s most renowned dairy producing regions. As a farmer-owned cooperative, we pride ourselves in our rich heritage and community values. Throughout the years, we have grown steadily in supplier numbers, milk processing capacity and production capabilities. Today, we have over 400 farmers supplying us with premium, grass-fed Irish milk, all situated within a 40km radius of our processing site.

We have a daily milk pool of over 1 million litres, which allows us to produce >70,000 metric tonnes of product annually. We produce a wide range of dairy products and ingredients such as cheese, milk, butter and powdered ingredients. Tipperary is a leading manufacturer of functional dairy ingredients in Europe.
