The scene during the Threshing demonstration at the Tipperary Co-Op Creamery Stores during their Family Day , one of the events organised during the recent ‘It’s a Long Way to Tipperary’ Festival which was sponsored by the Creamery. Photo shows Murtagh McMahon and Joe Moloney feeding the thresher.

As part of their family day during the ‘It’s a Long Way to Tipperary’ festival. the Tipperary Co-Operative Home and DIY store hosted a threshing demonstration at thir premises in O’Brien Street, Tipperary Town.

 

One of the events at this years ‘It’s a Long Way to Tipperary’ Festival, sponsored by Tipperary Co-Op Creamery, was the Milk Maid’s race and taking part were from left to right were:Emer Roche, Aibhe Fitzpatrick, Lauren Hogan, Ciara Ryan, Sarah Ryan  with race starter John McCahill.

The Tipperary Festival goes out with a bang! Joan Doherty, winner of The Tipperary Festivals Tipp fm competition, won a fabulous 250 Euro Tipperary Co-op voucher to use in either Tipperary Co-op Supervalu or Tipperary Co-op Home & DIY store. Joan had the honour of setting off the spectacular Fireworks display on Saturday at the Tipperary Festival Closing Ceremony, which took place at Tipperary Co-op SuperValu.
